Palazzo Mocenigo

This is a wonderful apartment in a palace on the Grand Canal with a roof terrace with breath-taking views. The 15th Century Palazzo Mocenigo is one of the oldest palaces on the Grand Canal, in an exclusive part of Venice. The British poet Lord Byron used to live next door. Close to Campo Santo Stefano, the Accademia Bridge/ Academy of Fine Arts and less than two minutes walk to the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art, this is an area known for its antique shops and galleries.

Our elegant apartment is on the third floor (served by a lift). There is a large and bright L-shaped main sitting/dining room with eight windows overlooking the Grand Canal with vies of Ca’Foscari, theTraghetto at San Toma, the Church of the Frari, and many more landmarks. The room has polished wooden floors, large sofas, period furniture, oriental rugs and gilded antique mirrors. There is a fully fitted kitchen

On this level are three bedrooms: one master bedroom overlooking the Grand Canal with en-suite bathroom .Second double bedroom. Third double bedroom with French bed. Also on this level are two further bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. Two of these bedrooms can be made up as doubles or twins: please request at time of booking.
A wooden staircase leads up to the fourth bedroom with twin beds. From here there are a few steps up to the roof terrace.
